Default New hitchhiker

Well, just when you think there is nothing new to find in your tank. This morning, this little fella was out walking around on the glass. First time I've seen it in my tank which has been running for a year and a half. Its about a 1/2" across. I hope its okay, I would have to assume it is since there has been no trouble from it so far. Who knows, I may not see it again for another year.

Anyone have any clue on an ID?

Its an Astenia Star. Many people have them in there tanks.
Mostly you see them at night though. Nifty little hitchhiker IMO.

Cool! I would imagine then that this little fella is probably not the only one. Its weird that I've never seen any before now. Its not like I've never looked at my tank before

These little guys always seem to be short on an arm or two. Totally harmless as far as I know. Mine are usually white with orange centers. I like mine alot & they came in on some live rock for free

As far as I know they multiply by division. That is why they are always missing arms.
