![]() Well i am in the question mood I want to know what if any tricks there are .
my tank(RR type) with overflow makes a gurgle sound every so often ,sometimes for a long time all i have been doing is tapping the valves(slight adjusting) and trying to match the outflow to inflow and it stops for a while.

![]() Siphon overflows?
If so,...one of mine (have two) gurgles too. What I did was went to a foam mattress shop and got some pieces of foam and stuffed them in the top of the overflow box on the outlet side to help dampen the noise. It didn't completely mask the gurgle noise but it did cut it down about half. Cheers.
