Thanks Gary. I guess us night-owls have to stick together

The clams are a 5" Derasa (CO) & a 5" Blue Rimmed Squamosa (Hidden Reef).

The fish is an Elongate tang (A.mata) that I picked up from Coral Ocean @ 1.5" in June-July & it's now over 6.5" in January. (& growing )
They get to 20" max. in the wild.

The Green Bubble was from CO just before Christmas.

The Red Donut I picked up recently from OA.

The male seahorse is also from CO & I've had him over a year & he's a frzn mysis pig. Teaches other seahorses to eat frzn foods too

Finally got some photos to post

Anthony

Yes I think they're very nice too, especially my Derasa.

Oh yeah... the Red Brain is from OA & the Pipe Organ is from Denman PG.

I noticed 13 hits already & it's past 3:00am on the West Coast. My, we have a lot of night-owls, eh

The Elongate tang is the reason I'm in the market for a 200+g tank. Wonder if anyone else has one or has ever seen one? If you have, please stand up & raise your hand

Makes me wonder if I should try out a seahorse after I move. Any suggestions/links I can read?

Nice pics!

Danny,

(As you've probably read & heard) Seahorses are very difficult to keep & now even more difficult to buy with the CITES restriction & OceanRider (captive-breds) not shipping to Canada. Very high-maintenance fish & finicky. I spent a long time target feeding mine before the first one learned to eat frzn mysis. Luckily I mostly work at home, so that wasn't a problem.

I would definately do a lot of research before getting into Seahorses. I only have two fish in my tank right now which is why I'm considering my options.
