|  really crappy day well, today is offically a crappy day!!! i have had an algae problem that i have been trying to correct and thought i had the problem beat , but when i woke up this morning it looked like someone painted my tank green !   i lost almost all my corals  still have a few mushrooms but who knows if they will make it ... my fish seem ok for the time being, moved them to a hospital tank for a few days..... so all in told.... a good solid $200 bucks in corals and oh yeah my rbta cant foget about him... some days i really hate this hobby!      ..... |

|   I hear ya on that one, I've been there myself.  Sorry that it was so detrimental though. Are you running a good skimmer and using RO/DI water? |

|  reply You are talking about the RBTA going sexual right? How do you know when this has happened? Why would if cause and algae bloom?
