mixing salts

is it ok to mix salts?? ive been using kent and im running out and theres a sale on instant ocean..will this affect corals? and other sensitive inverrts like starfish and cucumber?

I think you will be fine I mix various salts with no deleterious effects. ( wow finally a chance to use that word )

Ha - deleterious... good one... The salts mentioned (Kent and IO) are supposed to be so close in composition that it won't make much of a difference, if any. You should be fine - just don't change 75%.

Actually I mix IO and that Chinese stuff. No problems yet.
