![]() I came home to find out that my 4 month old 175W XM10K was burnt out. After a brief bout of hyperventilation, I called Jody and he had a spare Hamilton 14K bulb that I could use. Now my anemone and montipora are again illuminated - close one. And yes, I am buying backups now.
By the way, that 14K bulbs color is saweeet! - Chad

I believe that I have read before that the XM's don't seem to do as well on icecap ballasts for some reason. I will confirm that before I post - I did get a major color-shifting to yellow in the weeks leading up to the failure. And jojoseb (Jody) is a member of the board who also lives in Okotoks - and lucky for me. - Chad
