Are these versions quiet?
My display is in the living room and the mo10 I had years back was too noisy for my liking.

If I put these on opposite ends of a 3' tank will it make a nice wave?

No sorry , those are not QD( quiet drive), the controller is black .
Look at the controller, is the same than you use long time ago?
I hear split review about the noise, I had 4 of them and no issue, I'm selling because they too small for my tank.

Adding more stuff, also prices for single item added

- eheim compact+ 3000 return pump 800gph, just over 1 year old , got it new from j&l just upgrade to a new pump. $100(new 160)
- 2x ai sol super blue got them for a project, never went for it, just wanna get my money back, $350 for the pair with controller
- 2x vortech mp10 Wes $150 each, manufactured 2012
- eco tech battery back up $180 (new 250$)manufactured 2013
- wxm module $120( new 160)

Prices as new got from j&l website just to get an idea, so doesn't include taxes and " bridge tools". Prices are firm, and at this moment not interested in trades, feel free to contact me with any question.
