![]() Hi all,
I arrived home after work and found my clam upside down on the sand. I flipped him back over and its recessing into the shell. It also looks like the foot has completely gone as I can see the glass right through its gaping mouth. I've attached a pic....give it to me straight can reefers. ![]() Thanks, Dunc Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk |

![]() Yeah that's the tank bottom. Do I just pluck it from the tank and leave it for the garbage man then?

![]() I have read that they are very toxic when they die. Is it best to remove it now?

![]() One of my clams died as well, get it out. That's a lot of rotting meat in the tank.

![]() If you want to save the shell for sentimental or artistic reasons; you can take it out and bathe it in a bleach solution overnight.
Sorry to hear about your clam. |
