skimmer on/off

well i was just on RC and was reading the post on the skimmer on/ off.
SO i'm going to try it not skimming at noight to see any change ,I have read that the planton comes out at night so what the heeck... [img]smile.gif[/img]

Hello,

Mind you that night time your tank would benefit from extra skimming power to prevent the pH dropping too far.
