compact flourescents

is there anyplace that i can find out the spectrum on those compact flourescent bulbs for around the house.Im thinking of lighting my 48 with 4 of the floodlight style bulbs aswell as 2 no 40 watt actinic tubes.I think a will be able to keep some cool things under them.What do you guys think.
