would it be worth it for me to put it on my 180 as a suplimentary skimmer?

There has been some thought to suggest that having two skimmers on a tank will only result in one outperforming the other, and shutting the other down.

I've never tried it, but someday I would like to.

it comes with a sedra pump. I think you can find the model of the pump from the JL web site......
