I'd like to ask you all in helping me put together an informational thread of different salt brands, mainly their freshly mixed parameters. I've only used IO myself, so I'm hoping those of you who have used other brands could chime in.

Please be aware that I'm only looking for values in which you have personally tested, upon mixing your new salt water. Please do not provide numbers given off of manufactures web sites or the packaging on the salt.

Salts I am looking for include:

Instant Ocean Reef Crystals LOGGED IN POST #4
Seachem Reef Salt
Seachem Marine Salt
DD H2Ocean LOGGED IN POST #2
ZEOvit Reefers Best
Red Sea Salt
Red Sea Coral Pro
Aquaforest probiotic LOGGED IN POST #5
Aquaforest Reef Salt LOGGED IN POST #7
Aquaforest Sea Salt

Temp : 78 F
Salinity: 1.024 - 1.026
Alk: 9.8 - 11 Salifert
Cal: 380 - 430 Salifert
Mg: 1155 - 1355 Salifert



Once I can gather enough information, this thread will be edited into an informative listing of salts and their reported mixed values, simply to be used as a guide. Obviously this is not an exact science.
Also, no discussions in this thread please.
