Really? I've compared the quality of photos to a number of cameras this summer, specially with all my relatives in town from England. We took a few picture of the same subject, and almost everyone said the S5000 looked better. This is compared to several 5mpx cameras. Infact my sister and her husband went and bought the new model (S5100 which is 4mpx) because they were so impressed by the pictures I took during the wedding.
Regarding the CCDraw format, sorry I can't help you too much. I haven't had time to worked with it too much. However, check out this link:
