I assuming you're planning on selling the arowanas? If so, I suggest separating them before they start tearing up fins.
As for feeding them, you could try marbled crayfish, they clone themselves so you can start a colony with only one. They also have fairly large batches of eggs, I separated 5 of mine and put the 1000+ babies they produced into a sparate 40 gallon not too long ago.
