I also like the Eheim. If you aren't going to use the return to run any reactors or anything else you could go with the Eheim 1260 (65 watts). If you want some extra flow for reactors or a refugium you would want the Eheim 1262 (80 watts).
Another one to check out is the Eheim Compact line. They have a cheaper build quality, but seem to still be a quality pump, and the are very energy efficient. For the same reasons as above, choose either the Compact 2000 (31 watts), or the Compact 3000 (60 watts). I have a Compact 1000 and a 2000, and they have been running for a few years nice and quiet.
Both the Eheim pumps run quite cool. If your tank is in the basement and has LED lights, then using a return pump that
adds heat can be an efficient way to help heat your tank (heaters are energy hogs). If that's the case, check out the Quiet One pumps. They aren't as quiet as the name suggests, but they are reasonable, and certainly quieter than a Mag pump.
