I remember someone told me scraping tank once a week is normal, but is there a solution where I can quit doing it or do it once a month?
Having a reef requires much attention and to be honest cleaning your glass once a week is a very minimal chore in this hobby. Cleaning filters and sumps, skimmers and reactors, to water changes and testing parameters all require time. It takes no time at all to clean glass if you have a good cleaning magnet. I guess everyone has a pet peeve in this hobby, mine is cleaning glass tops and the outside frame once a week to wipe up all the salt creep
