Problem is the design requires the top to be routered once attached. If I do the top separately, it would be finished before attaching, so I would need to attach from underneath with brackets (like a counter top).
Plan B is just drape the whole project and myself in a plastic sanding booth for the router work

I might even post a pic of that.
