Now that's a controversial statement if I've ever heard one. We should start a seperate thread on this in order to avoid ruining this one. 
On another note, I just realized my first post made it sound like I don't want the government paying off my loan. What I meant was, I'd rather the government didn't hand each of us $3,000.
