I have had the same thing happen twice now and I am always left with one. The one I currently have in my tank has been there now for almost 2 years. I do know that mine get eaten by my carpet anemone(along with many other fish I once owned

). I saw one chromis get stuck in between a few branches on my huge montipora colony. I found him dead and stuck the next morning.
