I found it really interesting to see the difference between looking at the tank normally vs the top down. From the front the bottom looks black, but from the top you can really see the plywood. Do you regret not painting/vinal wrapping the bottom, or will no one get a high enough viewing angle for it to matter?

its actually a illusion, when a tank is filled with water anytime you look through one panel of glass to the bottom panel its going to appear " mirrored " regardless of whats under it , its only via a top down that you can ever see the plywood
its something that weve known for a long time and no regrets , i had the option to black out the bottom and didnt find the need as its only me and my cam that is ever up there
