Definately can be done, but I would think in a small volume like that things could go south quick. A snail dies and in a couple hrs the tank could go south. If its softies in it not a problem, but sps it will surely be bad... Also a clam is a filter feeder, I don't see it being sustained with such a small water volume for a long time. I guess if you did small water changes daily you could keep params in check. Clams use up calcium aswell need food to thrive. Imo Smaller clams are super hard to keep longer than 6 months because they require more to grow and are very sensitive.
