Aye tell him to log on here if he isn't sure its better to ask a question with an easy answer than to ask no question at all.
And most SW hobbyists are OCD to some degree or another it is a lot of time and money and hand wringing involved
Be better if we knew your tank size and what you have for fish/coral as well
