I have a friend with it in her 14G bio cube. It has not taken over but she grooms it periodically. Personally, I would rather not have it in there were it my tank. You can find some info here:

This source indicates it is fairly cosmopolitan and so I would expect it to be prolific and hard to get rid of. As for IDing it conclusively, best of luck
