I have a slight outbreak of bryopsis since some seeds came through some frags and they actually require very low nutrient and BAM! They started taking over my sand bed. Since I don't want ULNS, fighting bryopsis would be hard and hence I took a different step. Came to find out that true scarlet hermits (all scarlets are red but not all red are scarlets :P ) much on bryopsis like a boss since they don't get affected by the toxin. Its like puffer sushi to sushi lovers :P
Anyway, so I got three scarlets and a maxican turbo today and my oh my, they started working (even the turbo) right when they hit the sandbed. They are working like magic! So they are happy and I am happy too

Anyway, I have also added two big pieces of live rocks in the tank so that I can stuff in more corals (till now, I have 56).
