Helping my dad set up a 40g wintering tank for the pond fish... What a frickin head ache... "Well why do you need dechlorinator?"

"Do they need three filters? why not just use one."
And the list goes one. Well dad, you need to dechlorinate the water so its safe for the fish. It also detoxifies ammonia to a point. And why use the filters? Maybe cause you spent the money on them so you may as well + you can never have too much filtration when I comes to fresh water. Ughhh... Noobs.
Glad that's over. Oh but wait the tanks been running for 15 minutes, "can I put them in right now?" Why don we just let the water clear up over night at least dad and do things properly so you don't have to buy more koi next year k?
