It seems for the price the quality just isn't there as most Radion owners I know of have had some kind of issue with them. I agree to an extent and I am a Radion user. I hope Ecotech will have the bugs work out before putting the new ones on the shelf... In the last month I had to deal with with defects not once but twice... The replacement for the original defect was also a defect...
I am still a Radion supporter but having a one year warranty now concerns me.... especially spending $800+ per unit. That goes with any LED light systems.... Any potential savings on light bulb replacements and electrical expenses can be easily wiped out if the light stops working and there is no more warranty...
I don't think I need to upgrade to the new Radion at this time and without more information on the new lights and how they compare to the original radions with and without the new TIR lens I don't think I will be doing so anytime soon as I have just recently upgraded to the new lens kit and I quite satifisfied on the increased spread and brightness these lens put out...
