Back to the first one though ... Clark gets hauled down on a breakaway and the ref puts his whistle in his pocket ... may not have warranted a penalty shot but it was at least a 2 minute minor ... if the Canucks had scored to tie and later to win then that would have been a
huge non-call
... no big deal now but the Canucks had us on the ropes in the third and Jovonoski had a wide open shot at the end and missed the net altogether < whew > ... that non-call was the worst of the other non-calls of the third and could easily have cost the flames the game/series ... the 2 blind mice on the ice call obstruction penalties all nite except when it really counts ... morons !
