well, found a battle calculator.
says I am screwed! damn. 1 more hour till I can build battleships. I gotta build like 10 of them to win
I got a starbase at lvl 12 but no fleet at all, as I concentrated more on building up my planets (lotsa research/culture) and not on attack/defense.
Doh.
Hope I can squeak out of this.
