I think I once used D-D in the 4 years since starting this thread and it was OK. I was in a bind, needed something, and it was the only thing I could buy. Didn't have the skimmer issues with it that time so I think I just had a bad batch originally. These things happen.
I still don't like it as much as I do some of the other brands though. The texture is just not my favourite to work with. Nowadays I just use the pink sticks from TLF brand. Inexpensive, easy to work with, decent setting time, blends into the coraline of rocks not too bad, and easy to remove from the rock if I don't need it anymore. Works for me.
