I think your problem will be that you won't be able to submit to a new company, as the damage is a past occurance, of which they were not your insurance provider. You will have to hope for another big storm, that causes damage throughout the city, in order for you to try and get it covered.
Seems odd that they denied you when you can see the divets. That isn't good!
