I know this is what should happen.. but his bill clearly states HST. They them told him because they ship from BC the have to charge it. It wasn't me so its all second hand info. I have had this problem before in a different hobby, being charged PST on an order from Ontario, when I called they argued for a bit then the owner called me back and said it was a mistake and promptly refunded that portion. It was no mistake just a dirty way to make an extra 8%.
As for ups I refuse to buy anything from a company that will only use them. I have to import many things for work through them and it's disgusting what they charge for brokerage fees. These charges were not ups fees.
