Darn jumpy wrasses. 
Found my yellow wrasse on the floor last night on the "last tank check/patrol before bed" ... normally he sleeps in the sand, not sure what would have spooked him out of the tank around 1am which is about when I figure it must have happened. It was not quite 2am when I found him, he was still mostly wet but dry enough to know he was well and truly gone.
