I personally stopped taking the wife with me to LFS because she can be worse then me, she will she something that she really likes and I have to get it.
I also have a saving account for my tanks, its in my back pocket and the wife doesn't get her hands on it
most of the upgrades I have done and are currently doing are saved for by building stands and setting up full tanks for people that have no clue how to build one. Then I have to teach then how to care for it properly to the best of my ability.
