If she does something wrong, I don't give in and just replace it until she has "earned" it by helping around the house (either helping Mommy or giving Daddy a hand with water changes). I know too many kids who break stuff and then their parents automatically replace it so they break it again and have no problems expecting mom & dad to go buy another replacement. Bad life lesson & creating a life long problem doing it this way.
