Even though it's just one, it gives reason to believe when the tank is all properly lit up that having a white tank room won't be so bad. Just a note that the first shot had only the phoenix on. The rest of the shots had the fishroom lit. You can see in the first pic you get almost the same effect as a black bg (which always seems to give me more of a dark grey look when a tank is lit. With the wall being far enough back it actually has that dark greyish look to it but that might change when all the lights are on (with decent reflectors I might add). The backdrop might appear as a slightly lighter gray? My lights are also going to be closer to the front of the tank to help keep the back looking darker.
I was considering some magnet mounts for some sheets of black corrugated plastic for removal. I want to be able to magfloat the back of this tank with ease. I might even leave it totally open. It seems a lot of things with this build are solve as you get there
