I never seem to mind the start-of-winter snow so much - bring on the skiing/sledding/boarding/snowshoeing/whatever-it-is-that-people-do-in-winter -- but it's what I like to call "the month of May" that things are viewed a little bit differently..
I thought I had heard Calgary was supposed to get 15cm of snow overnight - not sure where I heard that now
but yeah sunny and gorgeous out there for the moment..
The ski hills are open around here - Nakiska is open, Wintergreen/COP is open .. not sure if the mountain parks open but if not already, it has to be soon..
