Holy smokes how long has this tank been up? is the LR cured? has it even cycled yet? and how many gallons are you talking about? Marine is a game of extreme patience. your LR needs to "cure" which means all the die off from the micro organisms on it is cycled and bio degraded meaning that all the ammonia has been removed from your tank through waterchanges. those same micro organisms whatever is left will recover regrow and repopulate. the magic here is as your tank ages the LR will better deal with the waste your fish produce, and the micro organisms will eat that waste. Give your tank time to grow a bit keep an eye on parameters. If you do get an ammonia spike that poor fish will recieve burnt gills and will possibly die. Please just take your time, youll have more fun and more success. I dont mean to flame you here but you asked for any thoughts. good luck
