Apparently they can sting corals but their sting isn't very strong and generally they stay in the spot you put them and they tend not to move around much. They are great for nano tanks because they stay small, don't need strong light and host anemone crabs and sexy shrimp. I went to the store to pick up another one (I had wanted the orangeish ones they had) but unfortunately they only had purple/green ones left.
