You'd think. There were 10 people there. Yes TEN, out of 300 grads. Apparently the organizing committee concentrated on the details a bit too hard and weren't the speediest about it. Then they used facebook to contact everyone and apparently half the messages didn't get to people because of FBs wonky security settings. So it got cancelled due to lack of interest but they figured for the local type people they would just do a party at one of the local bars (and perhaps plan one for the spring instead). It started out fun but then a bunch of the "cool kids" arrived and it was back to the cliquey crap from highschool (amazing how after 20 years that stuff still happens!). Got cornered by some dude that had nobody to talk to and had The. Most. Awkward. Conversation. Ever. It was EPIC. Then the bar ran out of tonic and I threw in the towel.
Bit of a headache this morning but I could really go for another G&T
