Yup, the saltynuts does grow in a V. It was totally shading my Abrol. The big stag was not the Abrol. I actually don't know what it was.
Here's the sad part, after the removal of those colonies, I didn't have room for a single frag to come up from the basement. I had to to some rescuing of others shaded corals and some moving around and I even had to get rid of two colonies and move them into the frag tank. Looks like I'll have to get rid of quite a bit more.
Another sad thing is that I forgot to take a full tank shot before the major removal. I don't even have a recent FTS
