If you can find someone to babysit what you can't part with it might be a better option. Keeping in mind that each time you move the tank you're bound to go through a minor to major cycle, the water parameters will be all over the place, etc., etc., it will be much less stressful on your fish to go from one established home, to another.
and man, I thought 'oh, it will take me an of hour or so, easy peasy'. 4 hours later I was ready to start transporting everything. That's not counting what it took to clean out the tank and get it ready for sale.
