Im not saying that this is what is for sure the issue here......its just that those three (Ca, Mg, and DKH) form this symbiotic triangle..... when this symmetry is achieved, magical things happen with sps
.....try and get yourself a test kit or get a sample in to a LFS.......and like others have said.....most of the thinner branched SPS are deep water species and dont need to be bombarded with light, but do love flow......try and find a suitable spot and leave it be (if you can....I know its hard sometimes
