What horror stories have you heard about pistols?
Well I've been searching for at least an hour and saw people claiming that they had shrimps and small fish disappeared since adding them, people saying you can hear them from other rooms or waking up at night because of the clickings..
Its only the very rare species that seem to be predatory, none of the pistols I have had pair with gobies have ever taken an active interest in snails or inverts.
They are about as loud as someone snapping their fingers...though size does affect the volume..moreso of the appendage itself than the shrimp.
Ok.. But I'm in college, I don't want to wake up at 4am because of a clicking so I don't know...
