Default Phytoplanton

the pipes were doing awesome... ive moved them to a new location in my tank, and since then they've been getting used to their surroundings... Ive dosed my tank with 1/2 cap full of coral vital, and hopefully it'll kick in....

Yeah I hear Dt's is great stuff, but I have a full bottle of Kent phytoplex which I decided to purchase a few months back... I think my LR and water quality are quite high, so Im hoping the phyto doesn't whack things off the chart....

If you want some phyto there mares77, you're more than welcome to take some... I have a bottle of seachem calcium + strontium (wink wink) that you can use to if the need ever arises....

right now Im super dosing my tank with coral vital, to see if the stated claims are really true?

The iodine seems to be helping huge with my green and brown mushies....

also IO salt is some good cheap stuff, and has proven to do wonders in my tank

just wondering, any one out there.... when using supplements and you decide to cut back on the additives, I hear that the inhabitants of the tank can actually "starve," since the levels they were used to, are now being cut back.... just wondering if any of you have heard the same hypothesis that's floating in my brain....
Im suspecting that if you did decide to cut back on the supplements to do this in a slow and patient manner....

cheers
