Percs can go into a BTA in a tank. Just 'cuz they don't do it in the wild doesn't mean they don't do it in a tank.
No guarantees though, of course. But just so ya know .....
My percs hosted in BTA's for a number of years before I got the ritteri. Even after I got the ritteri they spent time in both, darting from one to the other (when I was foolish enough to keep the two species together in the same tank, that is).
Now that there are no clownfish in the tank with the BTA my BTA is unhosted. My banggai would sometimes hover in there mind you but not anymore, she's gotten a lot less timid over time.
