The Tunze is under powered for a 65 gallon. BUT saying that.. in the 2-3 months I tried that POS skimmer that came with the RSM250 I bet I didnt get 1/2 cup of skim juice TOTAL..I dont mean 1/2 the collection cup.. i mean 4oz.
The Tunze is pulling out 1/2" a day apx... not thick goo like a bubbleking.. but pretty impressive goop non the less. It fits in well with the magnet mount, but you do have to leave the access panel up, as the skimmer is too tall.. You can lift the lid to the highest position with the skimmer and cup in place.
Im trying a Bubble Magus in it right now.. it kinda fits, with the access panel up BUT the cup has to be taken off to lift the lid up. The Bubble Magus will not plug into the control panel as its 220V and is using an inverter. I dont know if the made for Canada one would work.. it looks like its slightly different.
