You should thank the for providing such terrific guidance in your mother's shopping experience.
The LFS in question obviously is more concerned about money than customer service. It appears they also lack the knowledge to sell the fish in question.
The specifics of its abilities should have been mentioned as well as the sales rep should have qualified whether or not this fish was suitable.
I would personally boycott the place. In fact.... what was the LFS in question? Maybe others should know.
