I have had one for 3 years....just broke it down and moved everything over to a new 90 gallon

Opinion.....Well I sunk a whack of money into something I could have done cheaper and bigger

I retrofitted the lights and hood to a 150 MH,changed out the skimmer to a Tunze 9002 and then changed back to the stock. Added the overflow mod which didn't do much in my opinion. Had to run water level really high to get anything resembling good skimmate

It's a good starter tank however I found myself running out room to put things in like hosing for a chiller, top off, reactors etc. Flow isn't that great with the two returns so I added a Koralia 2

I ran softies and LPS...never got into the SPS until my 90. In terms of fish, never had more than 4 in there at an average size of 3-4 inches

Smaller tanks are more of a pain with any chemistry swings I found

I really did like the look of it however I had to remove the back part of the hood to house my top off and skimmer cup

Overall, for me, it was a good start getting into the reef hobby

My wife wants a sea horse tank in our room....may be a good fit as I added a gate valve to the return pumps. We'll see
