Fitted t-shirts or basic t-shirts? Please vote!
So my first run of designs was on Gildans. I previously didn't pay too much attention to makes of t-shirts before getting into this but some certainly just fit and feel nicer.
The Gildan line is generally heavier, fits larger and doesn't have a fitted cut. The material itself though is good quality. Some people prefer this style.
On the opposite end of the spectrum you have American Apparel t-shirts. They are lighter, softer and trendy. They don't feel rough and have nicer sleeves etc. They also cost quite a bit more.
So my question to everyone is which would you be more inclined to buy?
I currently sell for $20. $22 for anything larger than an XL. Here are my options now that I have arranged to buy wholesale and print local:
1) Cheaper shirt that isn't as soft, maybe not as flattering like Gildan? I could sell my shirts for as low as $16 I'm thinking.
2) Somewhere inbetween? Shirts will be around $18
3) American Apparel? You're cool and trendy and look more stylin'. Price would hold at around $20. The ladies will like the American Apparel more without a doubt.
