I think the Canucks GM has made some good moves recently and hopefully we've gotten stronger & Chicago has gotten weaker. We'll see come playoff time.
Last year, Calgary was supposed to be the class of the NW division, yet they underachieved big time. On the other hand, who woulda thunk the Yotes & Avalanche would have such stellar seasons with all the rebuilding & chaos they were in the midst of.
I feel sorry for Iggie because he really is one of the classiest guys in hockey and now he's going to have to pull his Flames up if they're going to make any noise this year. Bowie was a complete bust & waaaaaay overrated. They should have learned their lesson about overpaying for Florida players from Jokes, eh.
